Tathagata Farm

Tathagata Farm was initially started as an organic farming experimental farm which is also a member of Small Farmer's Organic Tea Growers Community at Mineral Spring, Darjeeling. 

Tathagata Farm opened its facilities for travelers from the year 2005 to promote Agro Tourism in the hills of Darjeeling. 

Mineral Spring originally known as Lebong & Mineral Spring Tea Estate was one of the first few Tea Gardens started by British East India Company and post independence which was totally abandoned & closed. At present it is an independent society of small farmers. 

We offer the following types of Rooms - 

* Cottages - we have Two Cottages which is designed in an eco-friendly & traditional style with Stones, Wood & Bamboo. It can accommodate 1 to 3 Adults in one Cottage at a time and comes with attached Bathroom (Western) & Balcony. 

* Deluxe Tents - we have Two Deluxe Tents which is designed in an eco-friendly style with Wood, Canvas Tent House & Bamboo. It can accommodate 1 to 4 Adults in one Deluxe Tent at a time and comes with attached Bathroom (Western) & Balcony.

* Deluxe Suite - we have one Deluxe Suite built with concrete and wooden ceilings & walls. It accommodates 1 to 3 Adults at one time and comes with attached Bathroom (Western) & Balcony.

Tathagata Farm is located in a rural village named Aanp Botay, Mineral Spring, P.O. Lebong-734105, Darjeeling, West Bengal, India.

Enjoy a Complimentary Nepalese & Indian breakfast of Parathas, Roti, Puri, Aloodum, Seasonal Vegetables and Hot cup of Hand made Tea from the Farm.

Nepali Cuisine in Dinner which are mainly Rice, Roti, Dal, Gundruk, Kinema, Seasonal Vegetables and Non Vegetarian items of Chicken/Pork/Beef.

We offer a simple amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible and in peace. Pedestal Fans / Ceiling Fans during summer and Bed Heaters in winters. A Small Outdoor Swimming Pond. Hot Water Buckets for bathing and Bon Fires in the evenings. 

Note : No Televisions, Hot Water Geysers in Deluxe Suite only.
